Mission Statement 

Enfield Street School classrooms are unique learning environments that provide a forum for organized, educational experiences and the exchange of ideas. Each child’s voice is heard in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Enfield Street School students are polite, respectful, and able to work in a creative and thoughtful manner. They are motivated to work collaboratively and to engage in insightful academic discussions. Enfield Street School students and teachers place the highest priority on building the essential skills of literacy, numeracy and writing. Our teachers recognize that all students can be successful when learners are provided opportunities that address multiple intelligences and focus on instruction through the creative arts. All members of our learning community are encouraged to take risks and embrace their educational experiences. As teachers, we strive to model the characteristics of life-long learners for our students.

Vision Statement

Our vision for the future is that our students will leave our learning community and become dedicated workers, life-long learners, and compassionate citizens. We want to create resourceful workers, who can communicate effectively, follow through on their commitments, and cooperatively solve problems. Our hope is to foster individuals who will continue to seek knowledge because they recognize that learning in an on-going process. We anticipate that our students will become caring citizens who participate responsibly in a democratic society.
